B Skip Henderson, the 70th Mayor of Columbus Georgia, has been a great ally to our agency and for the LGBTQ+ people.  The mayor has personally attended and sponsored every Pride Festival in Columbus Georgia since 2018.  Skip was one of the longest serving At Large City Councilors for over 20 years.  Skip has a kind heart and genuinely cares about the LGBTQ Community and our safety.  The LGBTQ+ Community is fortunate to have such an ally who continues to participate in Candidate Forums, Pride Festivals and special events.  Colgay Pride is very grateful to Mayor Henderson for his partnership and friendship.
